Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Pullcast LLC ("Pullcast", "we", "us") for your use of pullcast.me and its emails (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Pullcast does

You describe what you're looking for and Pullcast creates a cast: a standing watch that checks new public listings (today, job postings on company career pages) against your description and tells you about matches. Pullcast reads listings published by third parties, judges them automatically, and links you to the original. We are not an employer, recruiter, marketplace or seller, and we are not a party to anything you do with a listing.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Pullcast.
  • You sign in with links we email you. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can open those links can use your account.
  • Give us an email address you control, and one account per person.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, to harass anyone, or to harm the Service or other people. In particular, don't:

  • scrape, copy or resell the Service or its data, or access it by automated means other than our emails and links;
  • create accounts in bulk, or work around the fair-use limits;
  • try to access other people's accounts or casts, or probe or overload our systems (see Security for reporting vulnerabilities the right way);
  • put other people's personal information, or anything unlawful, into a cast description.

4. Fair use

To keep the Service reliable for everyone, each account has fair-use limits that apply to every plan, currently 25 active casts and 20 pulls (new casts or rebuilt descriptions) per day. We may adjust these to protect the Service, and we'll say so on the site when we do.

5. Listings and automated judgments

  • Listings belong to the companies that publish them. They can be wrong, incomplete, out of date or withdrawn at any time.
  • Pullcast's judgments (for example whether a role is really remote, its seniority or its pay) are automated estimates. They are often right, but not always. Check anything important with the source before you rely on it.
  • We don't guarantee that the Service will find every matching listing, or that a listing is genuine, available or suitable for you.

6. Paid plans

  • Prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars. Sales tax may be added where required.
  • Pro renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from "Manage billing"; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
  • The 90-day pass is a one-time payment for 90 days of Pro. It doesn't renew.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Refunds follow our refund policy.
  • Some paid features are marked "Coming in beta". We describe them honestly and will tell you when they arrive; paying today supports their development.

7. Beta

Pullcast is in beta. Features may change, and there may be interruptions or mistakes. We work hard on quality and reliability, and we welcome reports at [email protected].

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Pullcast anytime, and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or others at risk. If we close a paid account without cause, we'll refund the unused part of what you paid.

9. Our content

The Service's software, design and our own analysis are ours or our licensors'. These terms don't give you ownership of them. Company names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify listings.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
